Girls just wanna have fun

Hi, we are Robyn and Amy and we make up the spring 2022 Shitbox Rally team ‘GIRLS JUST WANNA HAVE FUN’.

This will be Robyn’s 5th year fundraising for the cancer council through the shitbox rally and Amy’s first year as part of the team.

Cancer has effected both our family’s in a devastating way. Robyn lost her mum to breast cancer and her lil baby Niece who is 1 years old is currently battling kidney cancer.

Amy has lost multiple people in her family to cancer with the most recent one being her mother-in-law and now her second mum has a tough fight ahead of her with both breast cancer and lymphoma.

Robyn and Amy have also supported their dads through bowel cancer who both came out the other side stronger than ever.

This horrible disease runs deep in both our family’s so it’s easy to see why we are so passionate about this cause.

Shitbox Rally is the largest community lead fundraiser for the Cancer Council in Australia and is now in its 13th year. Part of the participation is that all teams have to raise a minimum of $5,000 but most teams raise well above this amount as you can see with the 2022 Spring rally target set at $2,500,000 plus.

These funds go to the Cancer Council and we are extremely proud to be doing our part to support such a worthy charity. The fundraising is the hard part, so any donation you can give is greatly appreciated. Please make sure to follow our progress via this page and the blog post below.
